Is it over for Freddy Teddy Cruz?

First let me say, Teddy “Rafael” Cruz is a scary dude! Now that this is out of the way, let me get into the topic of this article. On Thursday March 24, 2016 something unbelievable happened. A news story, released by the National Enquirer, on March 23, 2016 reported:

Once the twittersphere saw the story, Twitter broke the Internet through the hashtag #CruzSexScandal, with hundreds of thousands of tweets and maybe over 1 million by now. Majority of those tweets were rebukes of Ted Cruz in light of these allegations. However, what was apparent was that Ted supporters were eerily silent about the scandal. An attempt to make a later tweet saying about The Donald gained very low traction and virtually fell off the trend list. Contrarily, the Cruz tweets completely dominated Twitter.

It’s perplexing, at first, when you see the voluminous amount of tweets referencing the scandal. I mean come on, Politicians don’t only cheat their constituents, they cheat on their spouses. Just ask John Edwards, Bill Clinton, and Alabama Governor Robert Bentley. Therefore, to hear a politician cheated on his wife is not a new concept. However, when your entire public persona relies on the fact that you claim to be a God fearing, holier than though, bible toting, defender of the faith, and you are later discovered to be an utterly embarrassing fraud, it can be life altering. While we are uncertain whether these allegations are founded, we can say that if they are true then Ted Cruz is toast!

Twitter has continued to tweet the hashtag #CruzSexScandal that must have amassed over 1 million tweets. Simply having Twitter say Teddy is a sex pervert does not automatically equate to facts without some independently credible source confirming the allegations. However, just because an independent, reliable, source hasn’t confirmed it, that does not mean the damage is not already done. Regardless of the validity of the story, the damage is done. People have confirmed in their minds that the story is legitimate and no deference should be given to Teddy.

Whether the story remains in the public consciousness remains to be seen; however, it is hard to see Teddy recovering from it. It is hard to imagine that he politically survives these attacks because they are so salacious that most people cannot shy away from wondering, “what if it is true?”.  If you are his supporter and have not reconciled with yourself that he has not done it, then it is almost impossible to support him.  Further, he hasn’t convincingly refuted the allegations.  He says they are false and garbage, but does not say that he never had an affair.  Teddy saying it is “false” and “garbage” may only mean that he never slept with these particular women accused by National Enquirer, but not that he hasn’t had an affair.  This is very problematic for him if he does not come out and categorically deny that he has ever had an affair.

Teddy  has to do that soon, as evidence has come out that shows a suspicious relationship with Amanda Carpenter; for example, it was disclosed that the two of them got fake tattoos of Winston Churchill at the same time; Teddy showed his on Fox News and Amanda showed hers on twitter.  Then there are tweets from Amanda that I must say are very questionable, such as calling Ted Cruz “Daddy Cruz”; repeatedly defending  Cruz and recently she tweeted the hashtag #SleazyDonald which was started and stated by Teddy first on TV.  Furthermore, neither one of them have said they intend to sue National Enquirer; neither has sent a Cease and Desist to National Enquirer; neither has specifically said that they did not have an affair with the other.  While this is not conclusive evidence of an affair, it does raise questions. When people have questions that are not answered they start to distrust the person without the answers. Teddy has not persuaded anyone, except his loyal following (which is very low) that he did not do this.

If I were a betting person, which I am not, I would say that Teddy is likely done this election season and maybe his entire political career. If he is done all I can say is good riddance and Hasta Luego. You will not be missed!

  1. I just can’t see how any woman would sleep with him besides his wife who I don’t get either.

  2. I have not seen Ted Say he did not do it. That should make him disqualified.

  3. I thought it would be over, but the media refuses to cover it. Ted is getting a free pass. How is anyone supporting this guy! He’s a total fraud. He is Washington. He just makes me sick.

  4. I support Cruz. Good luck Trumpkins bc u can’t stop him. No, he’s not done.

  5. Is Ted Cruz still denying the affair? He should hire a PR firm and then come clean. He had an affair. He should just admit it. If it comes out and it will he’s done.
